Dr. Alfio Ferlito is Professor and Chairman of the ENT Clinic at the University of Udine School of Medicine from 1997. He was Director of the Department of Surgical Sciences at the same University from 2003 to 2009. He graduated in medicine at the University of Bologna in 1968. He completed his residence programme in otolaryngology and subsequently in pathology. He worked at the ENT Department of Padua University from 1970 to 1997. Dr.Olga Mozenska, MD, PhD graduated from Medical University of Warsaw, Poland. She did parts of her medical degree abroad at University Studi degli di Milano in Milan, Italy and at Harvard Medical School (Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital). She did several international clerkships, ie. German Heart Centre in Munich, Germany, Toho Medical University in Tokio, Japan, Royal Brompton and Harefield, London, UK. She is a board-certified cardiologist and holds a certification in travel medicine. Her main clinical and research interests lie within valvular and structural heart disease as well as within cardiac multimodality imaging. She works in the Department of Internal Medicine, Hypertension and Angiology in the Independent Public Central Clinical Hospital, Medical University of Warsaw, in Warsaw, Poland. She published over 60 articles (original, review and case reports as well as chapters in cardiology books) and is the first author or co-author of several abstracts and posters presented at international Congresses (EuroEcho, ESC, EuroPCR, PCR London Valves, Heart Failure). She is a member of European Society of Cardiology, European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging Club 35 and Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
