Biography: Dr. Elizabeth Hale, a board certified dermatologist, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the New York University Langone Medical Center. She specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery, cosmetic dermatology, and laser surgery and teaches advanced dermatologic surgery to the NYU dermatology residents. After graduating cum laude from Cornell University, Dr. Hale received her medical degree from NYU where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha. She was also the recipient of the American Medical Women’s Association Citation and the Marion Sulzberger Dermatology Award at NYU. Dr. Hale served as chief resident at The Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology at NYU and was selected to receive the Morris Leider award for Excellence in Dermatology. Dr. Hale has extensive experience in the field of skin cancer and is a long-time advocate for increasing public awareness of the disease. As a vice president of The Skin Cancer Foundation, she frequently volunteers her time on screening initiatives and public speaking events about the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. She also lectures extensively on the treatment of photoaging with the latest advances in lasers and injectables. Research interests: Dr. Elizabeth Hale, primary interests include the study and management of photodamage, with a particular focus on photodynamic therapy, laser-based treatments, and the clinical application of dermal fillers.

Alvin, MD received his Medical Degree from Padjadjaran University, Bandung, West Java, Indonesia and obtained his postgraduate specialization Diploma in Dermatology from Manila University, Philippines. He has previously served at the Department of Dermatology in Kuala Terengganu General Hospital, Terengganu, Malaysia, and the Department of Dermatology in Queen Elizabeth General Hospital, Sabah, Malaysia. research interests: Glen G.K. Alvin focus on dermatology, with particular emphasis on diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as biopsy, cryotherapy, and advanced treatments for alopecia and acne. he is also interested in chemical peels for the management of melasma and the use of vascular laser technology in the treatment of hemangiomas.

Dr. Craig G Burkhart, a board certified dermatologist, is a Clinical Professor at University of Toledo College of Medicine in Toledo, Ohio and Clinical Assistant Professor at Ohio University of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio. After graduating cum laude from University of Pennsylvania with Phi Beta Kappa honors, he received his medical degree from University of Toledo College of Medicine. He subsequently did his medical and dermatology residencies at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He then became head of dermatology at the University Of Toledo College Of Medicine for three years before starting private practice in Sylvania, Ohio. Dr. Burkhart has six US patents in the area of acne, head lice, fungal infections, and ear wax. His head lice product has been FDA approved and is being distributed by Arbor Pharmaceuticals. He is presently editor of three dermatology journals having previously been editor of several other journals including the Journal of Dermatology and Allergy for the Practicing Physician. He has co-written one book, written over 25 book chapters, and has published over 500 articles. He has been awarded several research grants. He has served in over 30 editorial boards and has served in several leadership positions including President of the Ohio State Dermatology Association. His son, Craig N Burkhart, MD, MSBS is a prominent dermatologist presently serving on the faculty of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. research interest: Dr. Craig G Burkhart research interests focus on acne and cosmetic dermatology, with an emphasis on improving clinical outcomes and aesthetic treatments.
