Currently, my research area at Ulster University is in the field of Stratified Medicine and its application in CVD as well as acute kidney injury (AKI). We are conducting a clinical study at Altnagelvin hospital in Northern Ireland to investigate potential biomarkers involved in inflammation and cellular senescence in patients at various risks of major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and AKI.
