Special Issue Information
Dear Colleagues,
The growing prevalence of multisystem diseases and multimorbidity presents a significant challenge in modern clinical practice. Patients with complex conditions often require comprehensive diagnostic approaches and coordinated management strategies that address multiple organ systems simultaneously.
Advances in clinical diagnostics, imaging technologies, and integrated care models have improved the identification and management of multisystem disorders. The increasing use of digital health tools, electronic health records, and artificial intelligence (AI) is enhancing clinical decision-making and enabling more personalized and efficient patient care.
Despite these developments, managing patients with multiple coexisting conditions remains challenging due to disease interactions, polypharmacy, and variability in patient outcomes. A multidisciplinary approach involving coordinated care and patient-centered strategies is essential to improve clinical outcomes and quality of life.
This Special Issue aims to bring together cutting-edge research and comprehensive reviews focusing on the diagnosis, management, and outcomes of multisystem diseases in complex and multimorbid patients. We welcome contributions that explore clinical innovations, integrated care approaches, and strategies to optimize patient outcomes.
