Dear Colleagues,
The rapid evolution of digital health technologies is transforming cardiovascular care. Wearable devices, implantable sensors, mobile health applications, and artificial intelligence–driven analytics are enabling continuous remote monitoring of patients with heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias. These innovations are redefining disease management by facilitating early detection of clinical deterioration, improving patient engagement, and supporting data-driven therapeutic decisions.
Heart failure and arrhythmias remain leading causes of hospitalization, morbidity, and mortality worldwide. Traditional episodic care models are increasingly complemented by remote monitoring systems capable of tracking heart rhythm, hemodynamics, physical activity, and other physiological parameters in real time. Digital cardiology tools—including smartwatches, patch monitors, implantable loop recorders, and remote device interrogation platforms—offer new opportunities to optimize treatment, prevent readmissions, and personalize long-term management strategies.
Despite these advances, important challenges remain, including data integration, clinical validation, regulatory considerations, cybersecurity, patient adherence, and equitable access to digital technologies.
This Special Issue aims to explore the expanding role of digital cardiology and wearable technologies in improving outcomes for patients with heart failure and arrhythmias. We welcome high-quality submissions addressing, but not limited to:
- Wearable and implantable cardiac monitoring technologies
- Remote monitoring in heart failure management
- Digital detection and management of atrial fibrillation and other arrhythmias
- Artificial intelligence and predictive analytics in cardiology
- Telecardiology and virtual care models
- Implantable device remote interrogation and optimization
- Digital biomarkers and risk stratification
- Impact of remote monitoring on hospitalization and mortality
- Ethical, regulatory, and implementation challenges
Through this Special Issue, we aim to provide a comprehensive overview of emerging digital strategies that are shaping the future of cardiovascular care and improving patient-centered outcomes.
We invite original research articles, clinical studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and comprehensive review articles.

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal’s online submission system at:

All submissions will undergo initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous peer-review process. Accepted papers will be published online promptly and grouped within the Special Issue collection.
We welcome original research articles, review articles, case reports, and short communications. Authors planning to submit may send a proposed title and abstract (approximately 200–250 words) to the Editorial Office for preliminary consideration.
Submitted manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Authors should follow the journal’s Instructions for Authors when preparing their manuscripts.
