Abstract

Introduction:Malignant thyroid tumor is considered a cancer in the parenquima cell of the gland. There are two major types of cells consisted in follicular cells (that represents 90-95% of all thyroid malignancies) and perifollicular cells.

Purpose:the purpose of this study is to show that it is possible to treat malignant thyroid tumor without using surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy only rebalancing the internal energy of Yin, Yang, Qi, Blood and taking out  Heat retention through Chinese medicine’s tools (Chinese dietary counseling, auricular acupuncture with apex ear bloodletting and systemic acupuncture, and replenishment of internal massive organs using homeopathy medications according to the theory Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and crystal-based medications.

Methods:Through one case report of 70-year-old female patient with malignant thyroid tumor diagnosed in the gynecology routine exam (2018), and she was referred to head and each surgeon. He marked to do the surgery two months after the diagnosis. During the interval between the diagnosis and the surgery (two months), she went to do some acupuncture sessions associating with Chinese dietary counseling and radiesthesia procedure, that showed that all her internal massive organs were in the lowest level of energy, rated one out eight, with exception of the seventh chakra, that was normal, rated in eight.

Results: The results of the treatment were that after two months of treatment, she was submitted to the surgery that revealed that the malignant tumor become begin and she did not need to take out the thyroid any more.

Conclusion:the conclusion of the study was that malignant thyroid tumor could be treated without using surgery or chemotherapy or radiotherapy only using Chinese tools to rebalance of energy of Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood and take out the internal Heat using apex ear bloodletting. The replenishment of the internal massive organs’ energy using homeopathy medications also are very important tools used by these patients because they can increase the vital energy, contrary when you use highly concentrated medications, that can induce the reduction in this energy worsening in this case the energy deficient state, predisposing the patient to have metastasis or other complications due to this reduction in the energy.

Introduction

Malignant thyroid tumor is considered a cancer in the parenquima cell of the gland. There are two major types of cells consisted in follicular cells (that represents 90-95% of all thyroid malignancies) and perifollicular cells (that comes from medullary thyroid carcinoma and represents 1-2% of all malignancies in thyroid) and the remaining less than 1% comes from a type called anaplastic thyroid carcinoma [1].

The treatment of all types of thyroid cancer consisted in surgical resection followed by radioiodine ablation and suppression therapy with thyroid hormone. In advanced cases refractory to conventional methods of treatment, it can be used systemic radiation and chemotherapy but they rarely play a role in the treatment [1].
This article will be written by the influences of Hippocrates (c. 460 bce - c. 375 bce), father of medicine, that said in one of his quotes that “it is important to consider ancient medical traditions prior to the knowledge we have nowadays” and for this reason, I will use the reasoning of oldest medicines such as traditional Chinese medicine and Ayurvedic medicine to show how we can treat malignant thyroid cancer without using these conventional therapy recommended by Western medicine’s treatment [2].

Purpose

The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that patient with malignant thyroid cancer have energy deficiency in the chakras’ energy centers (that are energy concentrations according to Ayurvedic medicine) that corresponds to deficiency in the five internal massive organs according to traditional Chinese medicine and the treatment rebalancing and replenishing these energies are important to treat the cause of the cancer formation, in the energy point of view and not just treating the symptoms (only doing a localized treatment).

Method

I did a search to write this article using Western medicine’s publications about malignant thyroid cancer definition and treatment and I used Chinese medicine’s publications that explains the cause of formation of cancer, in the energy point of view. It was used one case report to demonstrate  that patient with malignant thyroid tumor have energy alterations in the internal five massive organs (Liver, Heart, Spleen, Lung and Kidney) and the treatment rebalancing the internal energy of Yin,Yang, Qi and Blood and taking out Heat, using tools in Chinese medicine such as Chinese dietary counseling, systemic and auricular acupuncture with apex ear bloodletting are important to treat the formation of cancer, without the necessity of using surgery or other tools recommended nowadays.

Case Report

N. 70 years-old women has diabetes, obesity, hypertension, diabetic retinopathy, went to a routine gynecological exam and the doctor saw that her thyroid was enlarged and asked for some laboratory exams that demonstrated that she was suffering from malignant thyroid cancer.

She went to a head and neck medical doctor that suggested her to do the surgery to take out this malignancy tumor. He marked in two months after the diagnosis.

During this interval between the diagnosis and the surgery, she went to my clinic to perform acupuncture sessions because she was very anxious about her new diagnosis and need some support until her surgery.

Her Chinese medicine’s diagnosis was Yin deficiency and Heat retention and I orientate her to avoid the ingestion of Cold water, raw food, sweets and dairy products (because these foods can induce Spleen and pancreas energy deficiency, responsible for the absorption of nutrients and formation of Blood). It was orientated her to avoid the ingestion of coffee, soft drinks and matte tea (because all these drinks could induce the deficiency in the Kidney energy that are responsible for the formation of Yin and Yang energy). The last group of foods that was orientate to avoid was the ingestion of fried foods, honey, eggs, coconut, melted cheese, chocolate, alcoholic beverages (because these foods can induce the energy imbalances of Liver and Gallbladder and can increase the formation of internal Heat, that one of the energy imbalances responsible for cancer formation according to traditional Chinese medicine).

She was also submitted to auricular acupuncture associating with apex bloodletting and systemic acupuncture (the patient went to my clinic daily with exception of Saturday and Sunday).

She was also submitted to radiesthesia procedure to evaluate the energy inside the five internal massive organs through the measuring the 7 chakras’ energy centers using a crystal-pendulum.

Discussion

This article was based on Hippocrates (460 bce - 375 bce) thoughts that said, “It is more important to know which type of patient we have then to know which type of disease the patient has”. For this reason, I am demonstrating that “we need to treat the patient and not the disease”. In another quote wrote by him, he said that “make your food your medicine and your medicine your food”. The last quote that I based in my treatment of this patient was “natural forces within us are the true healers of the disease”[2].

The reasoning used to treat this specific patient was following one patient that I treated in 2006 and that became the cornerstone of all my treatments nowadays. I will show you briefly his history to you to understand what I want to say in this article [3].

This patient is a 70-year-old male patient with history of pain in the legs for 6 months with no improvement using anti-inflammatory medications. He went to my clinic (2006) to search for another type of treatment and his diagnosis according to traditional Chinese medicine was Kidney Yang deficiency (feel colder in the feet). I treated him using Chinese dietary counseling (the same recommended in the case report), auricular acupuncture with apex ear bloodletting and systemic acupuncture twice a week. After ten acupuncture sessions, he returned and said that his leg pain improved but he also improved from another condition that I was not aware that he had (he was treating glaucoma for the last 40 years with no improvement only using eye drops and for the first time of his life, his intra-ocular pressure reduced from 40 to 17 mmHg)[3].

After this case, I began to participate in many conferences worldwide to explain the importance to treat the root (that are the energy imbalances) and not just the symptoms (in this case leg pain and high intra-ocular pressure) [3].

According to Hippocrates (c. 460 bce - c. 375 bce), “we need to treat the patient and not the disease”. [2]

Another quote from him was, “it is more important to know which type of patient we are treating than to know which type of disease the patient have”[2].

To show the different levels of treatment between Western and traditional Chinese medicine, I would like to show through the tree metaphor (Figure 1). In this metaphor, I am showing the parts of the tree that corresponds the different levels of treatment between Western and traditional Chinese medicine. The trunk and blanches represent each medical specialty and the leaves represents the symptoms and diseases treated by each specialty. So, in this metaphor, I am explaining that Western medicine is treating the leaf level and what traditional Chinese medicine understands is that all the manifestations in the leaf level is caused by the energy imbalances in the root level and could be caused by the influences of the external pathogenic factors, that is surrounding the tree[4, 5].

Figure 1- Tree metaphor showing the different level of treatment comparing Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine

In this case, any type of cancer is caused by internal energy deficiency and Heat retention, according to traditional Chinese medicine reasoning and for this reason, when treating the root of the tree, only rebalancing the internal energy of Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood and taking out the Heat, it was possible to treat malignant cancer without doing any surgery, or chemotherapy or radiotherapy[6].

In the root of the tree, there are two theories that are the cornerstone of all traditional Chinese medicine is reasoning. The first theory is the Yin and Yang that explains all the things in our universe such as day and night, sun and moon, man and women, good and bad, etc. You can see in the Figure 2, the Yin and Yang symbol [5].

Figure 2 – Yin and Yang symbol

The aim of all treatments in traditional Chinese medicine is to balance these two forces and the different energy imbalances between Yin and Yang, you can see in the Figure 3[4, 5].

Figure 3- Different energy imbalances between Yin and Yang energy

The second theory that is basing all traditional Chinese medicine is the Five Elements theory, as you can see in the Figure 4[4, 5].

Figure 4- Five Elements theory

In this theory, all the internal massive organs are interconnected and this is the major difference between Western medicine because they understand that all organs work independently and separately, the idea that comes from Galen (ca. 129 ca. 217), a Greek physician that was born 500 years after Hippocrates and from whom, Western medicine is following nowadays[5].

The dietary aspects was the first step in the treatment of this patient reported in this article following Hippocrates thoughts that said “make

your food your medicine and your medicine your food”[4].

According to Chinese dietary therapy, all foods orientations depends on the energy alterations that the patient is presenting, based the Yin and Yang energy changes. The relationship between them are described in the Figure 5, where I am showing that, to Yin and Yang circulate inside our body, we need to have two other energies, that are Blood and Qi, Their interrelationship is described in the Figure 5[4, 6].

Figure 5- Relationship between Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood

When there is deficiency in one or a combination of energy deficiencies between them, there is a formation of internal Heat, that is the second cause of cancer formation in Chinese medicine and in her case the same cause for the formation of diabetes. So, in her case, all her symptoms improved at the same time, and was described in the article written by me (2020) entitled The Importance of Treating Energy Imbalances and Chakras Replenishment for Prevention and Treatment Chakras Replenishment for Prevention and Treatment of Cancer, and in another article entitled Are the Changes that Generate Diabetic Retinopathy Really Inside the Eye? [6, 7].

She also improved from the hyperglycemia and also, reduced very much her weight while doing the treatment (because I was treating the energy imbalances that was located in the root of the tree and not just treating the symptoms presented by her)[3, 4].

The second step used by me in her treatment was the auricular acupuncture associating with apex ear bloodletting and systemic acupuncture. Using this kind of therapy, it was possible to regulate the Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood production that were produced by each internal massive organs in traditional Chinese medicine. In this case, the production of Yin and Yang energy is produced by the Kidney energy meridian (number.7). The production of Blood is the responsibility of Spleen and pancreas energy centers (number 8) and the production of Qi is the responsibility of Lung and Liver (number 11 and 5). To take out the internal Heat, I use the procedure of apex ear bloodletting (number 12), showed in the Figure 6 [4, 8].

Figure 6- Apex ear bloodletting

All these auricular points are showed in the Figure 7.

Figure 7- Auricular acupuncture points used in the patient’s treatment

The questions that I usually do in all my patients in the first appointment, are described in the Table 1, showing the signs and symptoms that could be revealing the energy alterations of Yin, Yang, Qi, Blood and Heat retention [4, 6].

Table 1- Questions to evaluate the energy imbalances of the patient.

In the case of this patient reported in this article and in many other articles written by me such as the article (2021) entitledEnergy Alterations and Chakras’ Energy Deficiencies and Propensity to SARS-CoV-2 Infection, I am saying that the majority of patients that I am attending nowadays, have internal massive organs energy deficiency and the treatment only using diet and acupuncture could be not sufficient to replenish these energies. [9]

The results of the research that I perform between 2015 to 2020, before the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated that the majority of my patients independently on the age group, gender, type of disease or co-morbidities, are having the same problem, that are energy deficiencies in the five internal massive organs, showed in the Table 2, that corresponds to 90% of the patients studied in that period (1000 patients). [9]

Table 2- Results of the 1000 patients’ chakras’ energy centers measurement

The remaining 10% of the patient had some energy inside the one or a combination of energy inside the internal massive organs (showed in the Table 3) and it was demonstrated in the article written by me (2021) entitled Are We Vaccinating Immunocompetent or Immunocompromised People for COVID-19?  [10].

Table 3: Results of chakras’ energy measurement in 10% of the population studies combining diverse energies from each massive organ (1- Liver, 2-Kidney, 3- Heart, 4-Lung, 5- Spleen, 6- Memory and concentration, 7- Spiritual)

To replenish the energy of all these organs, I used highly diluted medications such as homeopathies according to the theory created by me (2020) entitled Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Element Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and crystal-based medication. [11].
The medications used are described in the Table 4.

Table 4- Homeopathy and crystal-based medications used in the treatment of lack of energy of the internal five massive organs.

The use of this medications should be for the entire life, according to my clinical experiences because the reduction of this energy was related to the exposition to the electromagnetic waves, that is affecting the whole planet in quite the entire population and for this reason, I am saying that the results of the energy situation that my patients in Brazil is having could be the sample of what the entire population in the globe could be having nowadays and this part of medicine, is not studied by Western medicine, because since Flexner report, in 1910, all kinds of medicine that was energy based treatment was banned from medical schools and considered “unscientific”. For this reason, the whole world is facing the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic without knowing that the alterations that are leading to the whole population trapped by this virus is the energy deficiency state of them, leading to more propensity to have the invasion of the external pathogenic factors, because the Zheng-Qi, that protects the patients against this invasion, is very weak as I am demonstrating in the article Is sars-cov-2 Strong or Our Body is Weak? [12].

The use of any type of highly concentrated medications in the treatment of cancer patients could reduce even more this vital energy (that is proofed very low) and this recommendation is according to Arndt Schultz Law (Figure 8), created by two German researchers in 1888 and they said that the use of any type of highly concentrated medications can reduce the vial energy and can be lethal [4].

Figure 8- Arndt Schultz law

For this reason, in this case, it was used only highly diluted medications such as homeopathies according to the theory Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine and crystal-based medications. The prescription of these medications should be following the Generation cycle of the five elements theory, described in the Figure 9. If you start the treatment using Sulphur, the next medications used will be Calcarea carbonica. After, you need to use Silicea and the next medication should be Natrum muriaticum. After this medication, the next should be Phosphorus. This sequence should be used only in the situation when the patient has energy deficiency in all five internal massive organs, that corresponds to 90% of the total patients studied by me, as I am showing in the Table 2 [4-9].

Figure 9- Generation cycle

There are also other articles written by me (2020) entitled Energies and Chakras’ Replenishment in Prevention and Treatment of Patients with Atypical Pap Cells Exam, that I am demonstrating that the rebalance of internal energy using Chinese dietary counseling, auricular acupuncture with apex ear bloodletting and systemic acupuncture and using homeopathy medications to treat the root of the problem and not just the symptoms, it was possible to cure two patient that were suffering from alterations in the pap smear grade IV and normalized the alterations after one month of treatment[13].

The treatment of this energy deficiency state presented by patients with cancer is also important for patients that are using surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy because all these treatments can reduce even more the internal energy and leading to the more weakness state of the internal energy, complicating and causing many side effects. The replenishment of these energies can reduce the chance of having depression, anemia, hair loss, fatigue, insomnia, loss of appetite, nausea, etc, because they will act in all five internal massive organs, that are responsible for the functioning of all external sensorial organs and the production of internal energy of Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood as showed in the Figure 10  [6, 14].

Figure 10. Chakras’ energy centers and their correspondence of the five massive organs and the production of internal energy of Yin, Yang, Qi and Blood.

So, patients with thyroid cancer have energy deficiency in the five internal massive organs and it is considered a systemic disease with local manifestation and the treatment of systemic energy imbalances is important to improve the patient local condition, in this case, it was possible to cure this patient with malignant thyroid cancer without doing any surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy [6].

All the tools used in this treatment such as acupuncture and homeopathy are considered medical specialties by the Federal Medical Council in Brazil since 1995 and 1980, respectively [15].

To achieve these results of treating malignant thyroid tumor without using any surgery, chemotherapy or radiotherapy, it is important to have the two kinds of medicine in the mind, Western and traditional Chinese medicine. Both kinds of medicine are important and they are complementary, as I am showing in the Figure 11, in the Yin and Yang metaphor, Yin is representing the Western medicine because it is a materialized energy and Yang represents the Chinese medicine, the non-materialized medicine. [4, 6]

Figure 11. Yin and Yang metaphor of western and traditional Chinese medicine

Conclusion

The conclusion of this study is that, patient with malignant thyroid tumor have energy deficiency in the five internal massive organs and the rebalancing the internal energy and the replenishment of these energies are very important to treat the cause of the formation of cancer, according to traditional Chinese medicine and not treating the only the symptom, that is the formation of the tumor itself. The treatment using Chinese dietary counseling, acupuncture and replenishment of the internal five massive organs using homeopathy medications according to the theory Constitutional Homeopathy of the Five Elements Based on traditional Chinese Medicine, is of paramount importance in the treatment of all patients with any kind of cancer, but in this specific case, patient with malignant thyroid tumor.
