Introduction

Today, the world has entered the fourth wave of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, caused by a particularly aggressive, mutating Delta strain, which has claimed the lives of many hundreds of thousands, if not millions of human lives around the world. At a time when many countries, tired of two years of quarantine and lockdown, are significantly restricting. Or even remove quarantine restrictions, in other states, such as, in particular, India, Brazil, Argentina, the Russian Federation, the rampant Delta virus covers a record number of new sick and dead people! The State of Israel, which declared that their vaccination campaign had been successfully completed and the virus had been defeated, is again recording new outbreaks, with hundreds of sick residents of this country. An increasing number of people around the world are being vaccinated, with the involvement of different age categories of people - from children to the elderly. Also, not always, and not everywhere, everything goes smoothly with the vaccination process itself. Rich countries are ahead of poor and underdeveloped states in terms of the volume of vaccinated people, they often note insufficiently high efficiency of certain vaccines, thrombotic complications and even death of vaccinated people occur in a short time after vaccination [1-4]. Many countries, in addition to having vaccines already available and recognized by WHO, continue research to develop new, their national vaccines. At the same time, many countries of the world help other countries, and share with them their stocks of vaccines. Developed and actively implemented around the world, "vaccination passports" necessary for the functioning of migration and tourist flows of people around the world [1-4]. Naturally, such collectibles as philately and phaleristics did not stand aside from such an important process as vaccination against COVID-19, and actively realize their genuine interest in vaccines and the vaccination process, releasing more and more new philatelic and phaleristic materials that will be presented in this article [1-4]. In total, this research article presents: postage stamps and small stamp sheets - 152 copies; post blocks - 45 copies; maximum cards - 13 copies; postal envelopes - 45 copies; thematic commemorative badges - 10 copies; postmarks - 17 copies. The total number of presented screenshots of collector's items is 282 copies.

Aim of study

The purpose of this article is: to present data on vaccines and the vaccination process against the coronavirus COVID-19, through such means of collecting as philately and all its types, as well as phaleristics, in the form of a small selection of thematic badges.

Material and methods

In carrying out this research work, we used the method of in-depth literary-critical analysis of available scientific sources of information on the issue under study, using reference books, encyclopedias, catalogs, specialized periodicals, Internet resources. All illustrative materials presented in the article are taken from the Internet, from various collection sites, with a strict indication of the sources of borrowing, in order to respect copyright.

Results and discussion

Today, in the world, a company has begun to vaccinate children and adolescents. Also, in the world, at a rapid pace, a new mutation of the coronavirus, Delta, is spreading, which has already claimed tens, if not hundreds of thousands of people's lives around the world. In the world, the postal departments of a number of countries issue a variety of philatelic materials on various aspects of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic with COVID-19 and vaccinations against this virus [1-4]. There is information that a number of pharmaceutical companies in the world have begun to develop vaccines and drugs for COVID-19, in the form of tablets and sprays. The number of these materials is gradually growing, and has practically reached, in the world, the level of issuing postal miniatures, which were thematically released in connection with the fight against HIV / AIDS [1-4]. So, in fig. 1, presents postage stamps and miniature sheets, Algeria, Dominican Republic, Ukraine, Moldova, Madagascar, Republic of Chad, Indonesia, Republic of Guinea, and Guinea-Bissau, Austria, Moldova, Iraq, Togolese Republic, Sierra Leone, Portugal, Zimbabwe, Central African Republic, dedicated to vaccinations against coronavirus, and published from 2019 to 2023. [5, 8-13]. In total there are 152 postage stamps and small stamp sheets from different countries of the world.

2. The presented article creatively, colorfully and informatively presents textual and illustrative materials related to the reflection of information about vaccines and the process of vaccination against the COVID-19 coronavirus, reflecting philately and faleristics.

3. The materials presented in this article can be used for independent study and/or as additional material, as well as for practical use when studying the relevant section of infectious diseases, virology, epidemiology, pharmacy, as well as in the course “History of Medicine” and biology."
