This article presents collections of various commemorative medals, thematically dedicated to both obstetrics and gynecology, as well as famous doctors and scientists, obstetricians and gynecologists. The article presents the results of a study on the representation of the history of the formation and development of both obstetrics and gynecology, as well as a number of famous doctors, scientists, obstetricians, gynecologists and anatomists of different periods of time, on commemorative medals and coins. Interesting informative and illustrative material is presented in the form of screenshot copies of found thematic, numismatic materials on obstetrics and gynecology. The article is of interest to doctors, medical workers of different fields, as well as to students and historians of medicine, collectors and a wide range of readers.
The history of medicine is a bottomless treasury of interesting information about the events and people associated with one of the noblest occupations - serving people, preserving and maintaining their health. But even in medicine there is the most noble and grateful discipline - obstetrics. Issues directly related to the study of medicine and its individual areas, such as obstetrics and gynecology in all their varieties, their history and heroes, achievements and development, are always relevant and in demand for study. This directly concerns such a direction of research as the study of these two important clinical disciplines in a variety of collecting tools and, in particular, in phaleristics - on commemorative signs, thematic badges and brooches. This topic is quite popular with collectors and researchers of medicine and its history. In preparing for this study and conducting a literary-critical analysis of existing works, works of other authors on the problem under study, it was discovered that similar studies have practically not been carried out by other authors, and there are no other research works, and similar studies that would be carried out by someone earlier [1-2]. There is nothing more beautiful in medicine than to be involved in the birth of a new life, to help a new person come into the world. But obstetrics would be impossible without a related discipline - gynecology! Dozens of people - anatomists, physiologists, biologists, doctors, specialists in various scientific fields - took part in the history of obstetrics and gynecology, their development and formation in different historical periods. In every country in the world at different times there were and are famous scientists and practicing doctors in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, and in a number of auxiliary sciences! [1-3]. In this article, I would like to present the history of obstetrics, gynecology, embryology and reproductive medicine, through the art of phaleristics - on thematic badges, chest and award signs and brooches. The materials of this research, author's article are accompanied by large, illustrative material, in the form of screenshots of various phaleristic materials made by the author of the article, accompanied by brief explanations and comments by the author of this research article. In the article itself, the author highlighted additional subsections, thematically devoted to such important subsections as gynecology and obstetrics, both on commemorative signs and thematic badges, and on jewelry brooches. In total, this research work presents 130 phaleristic specimens, such as thematic and commemorative badges, chest and award badges, as well as jewelry brooches dedicated to both obstetrics and gynecology.
The purpose of this scientific article is to present a variety of phaleristic materials - commemorative, thematic badges, award signs and jewelry brooches, from different countries of the world and different years of issue, dedicated to both gynecology and obstetrics, as well as related disciplines.
Hypothesis of the study
During the initial preparation of this study, its author put forward a working hypothesis, the essence of which was as follows: there is a fairly large number of the most diverse collection materials, and in particular phaleristic ones, in all their diversity thematically devoted to both gynecology and obstetrics, their history, dedicated to these two important areas of medical science. I would like to note that among the found phaleristic materials, a significant number are devoted not separately to gynecology and obstetrics, but jointly - to both obstetrics and gynecology, primarily to congresses, conventions and other organizational events.
Methods and means of research
In conducting this thematic research, its author actively used the method of literary-critical analysis on the issue under study. For this purpose, special collection sites and Internet pages of numismatist collectors collecting commemorative coins and medals, both in general, on medical topics, and on obstetrics and gynecology, in particular, were carefully studied. All thematic numismatic materials found on the Internet were sorted, grouped, and also transformed by the author of this research, using a special computer program, into their screenshot copies, both black and white and color. These screenshot copies were used by the author of the article, later, as thematic illustrations, accompanied in the text of the research article, by brief, accompanying comments.
In the process of processing the obtained results of the conducted research, all the received phaleristic materials (memorable and thematic badges, jewelry brooches) were systematized and divided into thematic groups. All the received phaleristic materials and, first of all, their images, using special computer programs, were transformed into their screenshot copies. I would like to begin my story with the presentation of such an important issue for obstetrics, in the process of examining pregnant women and the biomechanism of labor, depending on the presentation of the fetus, as the individual anatomical features and sizes of the bony pelvis in women in labor. Thus, Figure 1 shows a small selection of thematic icons dedicated to the bony pelvis and its image, as well as the location of the fetal head when it enters the pelvic cavity, on thematic badges - a total of 24 screenshot copies [4-10].

Also, for both gynecology and obstetrics, questions dedicated to the anatomical structure of female internal reproductive organs and, in particular, the uterus with appendages are very important. Thematic figure 2 shows a phaleristic selection of badges with images of the uterus and ovaries on them - a total of 16 screenshot copies [4-11].

Next, in Figure 3, a small phaleristic collection is presented, thematically dedicated to the issue of pregnancy: conception and implantation, and the development of the human embryo - a total of 27 screenshot copies [12-14].

Speaking about issues related to modern gynecology and the issues that this important clinical discipline deals with, it is impossible not to touch upon the issue of practical application of various contraceptives. Thus, in Figure 4, a small phaleristic selection of thematic badges is presented - a total of 22 screenshot copies, with an image on their obverse (front side), of the most diverse contraceptives, such as barrier means (male and female condoms) and cervical caps, hormonal drugs - monophasic, biphasic and triphasic hormone-containing drugs, intrauterine devices, transdermal, hormone-containing patches, diaphragms and rings, vaginal ointments and suppositories [15-22].

Further, in Figure 5, a selection of thematic badges dedicated to obstetrics is presented, many of which relate to the period of the USSR and obstetric conferences, congresses and conventions held at that time in this country, both throughout the USSR and in a number of its union republics (RSFSR - Russian Union Federative Republic), in Ukraine and a number of regions of the country, as well as in other countries of the world, a total of 41 screenshot copies [23-51].

This concludes another author's research article, thematically devoted to the reflection of data on obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive medicine and contraception issues in the most diverse means of phaleristics - on thematic badges, chest and commemorative signs and in jewelry brooches. New articles are being prepared for publication, based on the author's research and previously obtained collection materials related to obstetrics and gynecology.
