Also, I came into contract with a man in his 60’s who was recently diagnosed with Dementia. He worked at a pulp and paper mill when he was in his 20’s. He may have been exposed to cresol there New Brunswick was sprayed with an insecticide to kill the Spruce Budworm in the 1960’s. He has lived downwind of an Oil-fired Power Plant for the last 2 years The disease runs in his family. They all lived in rural New Brunswick, which was sprayed with DDT, especially for the Military Base, Camp Gagetown. DDT may be a cause of Alzheimer’s.
