In this new research article, its author presents the results of the conducted research, thematically dedicated to identifying the representation of philatelic collection materials dedicated to the issue of providing surgical and traumatological care to children. As illustrative material in this article, screenshots of copies of collection, philatelic and numismatic materials found on the Internet on the issue studied by the author are presented.
The study of the history of medicine, its various directions, as well as the contribution of scientists and practitioners of medical science, is always in demand and relevant. This directly concerns pediatric surgery and traumatology, especially in the reflection of such means of collecting as philately, numismatics and phaleristics, in all their diversity [1, 2]. In this new research article, its author presented the results and analysis of the results of his study, devoted to the reflection of collection materials, with the image of plots on them, dedicated to pediatric surgery, traumatology and orthopedics.
Hypothesis of the article
During the preparation for this study, its author put forward a working hypothesis, the essence of which is as follows: in world philately, numismatics and phaleristics, in all its varieties, there is a fairly large number of collection materials dedicated to such an important section of medicine as pediatric surgery and pediatric traumatology and orthopedics.
Methods and means of research
The author of this article used such research methods as selection, systematization and literary-critical analysis of all - both domestic and foreign sources of information on the issue studied by the author of this article, including articles in specialized publications of collectors specializing in medical issues, reflecting various means of collecting, information from websites and Internet pages.
Results of the study and discussion
I would like to begin my story about the presentation of issues of providing surgical and traumatological care to children with a small phaleristic collection dedicated to this issue [3-5]. Thus, Figure 1 shows a small selection of 28 memorable, thematic badges and brooches from the USSR period dedicated to issues of pediatric surgery (conferences of pediatric surgeons and student scientific societies (SSS) of medical universities and institutes - higher educational institutions (HEIs) of the USSR, departments and circles of pediatric surgery) [3-8].

Quite interesting and informative is the selection of 13 domestic and foreign commemorative and table medals dedicated to pediatric surgery and traumatology, as well as a number of scientists and practicing physicians who made a significant contribution to the development and establishment
of these areas of surgery. This selection is presented in Figure 2 [7,9,10,13-19]. These commemorative medals are dedicated to domestic and foreign conferences on pediatric surgery, pediatric surgery hospitals, such famous French pediatric surgeons and traumatologists as Rene Froelich, Luis Ombredanne, Georges Marie-Felizet [7,9,10,13-19].

Figure 3 shows a small selection of philatelic materials (postage stamps, first day covers) - a total of 44 screenshot copies, dedicated to both international congresses on pediatric surgery and pediatric surgery clinics, as well as
various types of surgical care for children, such as, for example, heart surgery for children, ophthalmological surgical care for children and surgical treatment of such a common pathology in the world as "cleft palate" and "hare lip" [12, 14-20]

This concludes a brief review of the research materials devoted to the presentation of pediatric surgery and traumatology in such means of collecting as philately, numismatics (memorable and table medals) and phaleristics (badges and commemorative signs). The author is preparing a number of new research articles for publication, medical topics, in the reflection of various means of collecting.
1. In this research article, the author presents the results of new studies conducted by him, concerning the study of the prevalence and reflection of information about pediatric surgery and traumatology, in the reflection of various means of collecting.
2. Reflection in the means of collecting, different sections of medicine, is a very relevant and popular means of presenting information, both for different groups of medical workers, and for those collectors who are passionate about collecting data on medicine and its history.
